SAFIERY CANbus AUTOMATION for 2022

The advent of automation based on vehicle status is now available and affordable.

Scotty Application:

Using a programmed CANbus Trigger, either model Scotty can:

• Start charging at higher pre-set engine revs. For example at 1,000 RPM Scotty will move to full charge. This RPM level is programmable.
• Below this same RPM, Scotty will operate in High Side to Low Side Charging only. This will feed High Side (generally 48V) power to the starter battery. This will enhance fuel consumption in Euro 6 engines as the alternator start is delayed until the starter battery is around 70% capacity. Field tests show a 40-90 second delay at start and idle enhancing fuel economy.
• When the vehicle is turned off in camping mode, the standard bi-direction feature applies with power from high side to 12V side running continuously.
